fifty five days (give or take) since I came back home.

I used Styrofoam printing plates that I have only previously used when I was a child as well as red printmaking ink, that happened to match the color of my journal, that I found in my attic. For the concept of the work, I wanted to utilize my practice of daily journaling through sketching, as I have been keeping this journal for about 230 days and find that each drawing as well as the collection as a whole provide insight into my life and allow me to work through my days. I have found that this process has been incredibly significant during quarantine and social distancing as it provides me with some semblance of structure for the seemingly infinite days in addition to differentiating one day from the next when it seems like they all melt together. I wanted to explore my positive or adverse reactions to each day, as my emotions and feelings have been widely varied during this unprecedented time of change and stagnation.
